To craft the balanced taste of Woodford Reserve Bourbon consistently, we carefully batch a variety of barrels. We select barrels for batching based on their flavor profile so each batch can vary according to the flavors our barrels bring out. Because each barrel matures at its own rate, they take on a character of their own. As we taste barrels we occasionally find barrel combinations very interesting - and different from our standard offering.
