Grilled Chicken Breasts with Honey BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
4 Brookshire’s Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
2 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 oz tomato puree
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbs honey
1 Tbs molasses
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Directions
  1. Place chicken in a large zip-top bag.
  2. Add the oil, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
  3. Seal the bag.
  4. Rub the seasoning into the chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight.
  5. Combine the barbecue sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Let cool to room temperature.
  9. Clean the grill surface.
  10. Heat grill to medium. Spray the grill with nonstick spray.
  11. Place the chicken on the grill, top-side down.
  12. Cook for 5 minutes or until chicken releases easily from the grates.
  13. Turn, and baste with the sauce.
  14. Continue to turn and baste every 2 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  15. Remove from grill.
  16. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  17. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
