Back in 1959, Tony Pizzolato opened a small retail and wholesale business in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, selling produce, crawfish, shrimp and crabs to local customers. Louisiana Fish Fry Products was born and didn’t take long to blossom into a booming seafood business. Through Tony’s hard work and his insistence that the business sell only the finest quality products, he, his wife Mary Lee, their five sons Bill, Joey, Mike, Cliff and Tad and their daughter, Ceily, turned a small produce stand into a thriving seafood business. By the early 80s, the shop was selling as much as 50,000 pounds of live and boiled crawfish a day. In 1982, the family began offering Louisiana Fish Fry Products which grew from a single spice to everything the consumer needs to put a Cajun meal on the table. Louisiana Fish Fry Products are now marketed in all states across the nation.
