Adkins Seasoning is a third generation company that was founded back in 1967 by Hoyt “Tony” Adkins. Back then the Adkins Brand was sold to friends, family, and small local meat markets. Today, Adkins Seasoning is distributed all over the United States to large grocery chains and to individuals who enjoy shopping online. All Adkins spice blends are made with top quality ingredients that are all natural, gluten free, and contain no MSG. Adkins has been making food taste better since 1967.
The spice blend for their original Western Style BBQ Seasoning was started by Hoyt Adkins in 1967. It was a simple blend of spices used on a personal basis in his home. The compliments were such by all who tasted his cooking that he decided to market the blend through small meat markets in the Dallas area. His son, Paul Adkins was an avid hunter and enjoyed making his own sausage, so that is how the Sausage Seasonings developed.
Hoyt and Paul have now passed away, but the Adkins family are still blending, packaging, and distributing all over the United States.
