Dairy Fest – The Hopkins County Dairy Festival is an annual celebration of the dairy industry that began in the 1930’s. Partners volunteered ten hours to help set up at the civic center.

Mother’s Day Cakes – Four partners provided cakes for the Special Education Department to decorate for Mother’s Day. They volunteered for eight hours.

Drug Take Bake – The local Sheriff Dept. set up a tent in the store’s parking lot and took back unwanted medication. Six partners volunteered their time to assist them with this event.

Hopkins County Stock Show – Store Director Rodney Reece and others from the store supported the youth of Hopkins County by attending their annual Stock Show. They purchased animals from area youth.

Hopkins County Stew Contest – During the two-day event, nine partners volunteered for one hundred and eight hours to help set up, cook, serve and take down at Buford Park.

Hopkins County Jr. Livestock Show/Sale – Partners attended the Jr. Livestock show in support of area youth. They volunteered for 9 hours.

Blue Santa – Event was held in the Brookshire parking lot and all proceeds benefited the needy children program through the police department.. They raised over $34,000.00 for the children.

Santa Claus – Volunteers from the store assisted with passing out gifts to the local sick children program at the hospital.

Food Bank – Partners help sort over 1,300 bags of groceries for the needy in Hopkins County.

Hopkins County Stew Contest – Annual event held in City Park each year. Partners participated in the stew contest and volunteered over 92 hours. All proceed from the event helps pay for the myriad services the Chamber provides to the people and organizations in Hopkins County and Sulphur Springs.

Stew and Auction – Partners participated in the annual Stew and Auction to help raise money for the agriculture department for Miller Grove ISD.

Hopkins County Stew Contest – Partners competed against 118 teams. They cooked 25 gallons of chicken stew.

Hopkins County Annual Dairy Festival Parade -Store Director Barry Halcomb and Perishable Manager Ricky Bowen drove a new Dodge Ram pickup from Lone Star Dodge and threw candy to the crowds during the annual parade. They were just 1 of more than 200 parade entries.

Kindergarten Classes – The store supplied the kindergarten classes with plain poster boards and were given one week to complete decorating the poster boards. Each class transformed it into a beautiful Easter egg.  The  posters were put in the front of the store and they asked 20 random customers to pick the top posters. The winning class won a pizza party.  The store donated 7 hours of their time for this project.
