Relay for Life – Store Director Jeremy Morton served as the Event Chair for the Relay for Life of Midlothian and coordinated the event and raised awareness and money to fight against cancer. He volunteered for one hundred and 76 hours for three months.

Spring Fling Downtown – Brookshire partners had a booth and handed out Celebrate Cooking Magazines and gave out prizes. They spent 50 hours getting ready and tearing down for the event.

Taste of Midlothian – Store partners sampled Wok’s Chinese Food in the deli and well over one thousand people attended the annual event. Partners volunteered for 52 hours.

North Texas Region Relay for Life Summit – Store Director Jeremy Morton is the Relay Event Chair for Midlothian and attended the event at the Irving Convention Center. Four partners from the store attended the event that included workshops and brainstorming ideas. They volunteered over 30 hours at this event.

Fall Festival – Brookshire’s was one of the over 100 booths at this event. Four partners volunteered their time to assist with the Spin the Wheel Game. They handed out caramel apples and toys as prizes for the winners.

Dinner Tonight – Brookshire’s helped sponsor a cooking demonstration showing the community how to prepare quick healthy means and bringing families together. Partners volunteered for fourteen hours.

Manna House – This organization provides a food pantry for Midlothian. Partners sorted and handed out food for eight hours.

Charity Bowling Tournament – Partners formed a team and helped raise money for school supplies and shoes for children that are in need. They helped raised over $2,000.

Meals On Wheels – Partners assist the Meals on Wheels program during the month. They help deliver food to the elderly and homebound in the Midlothian area.

Relay for Life – Brookshire’s formed a team and volunteered 63 hours for this event. All proceeds benefited the American Cancer Society. They walked into the early morning and raised over $2,000.

Health Fair Midlothian High School – A table displayed food items and explained to students Nuval scores at a Health Fair. Store Director Jeremy Morton volunteered five hours of his time for the Health Fair.

Car Show – Over 40 cars were entered into the car show held at the stores parking lot. Partners volunteered to serve food and all proceeds from show went towards to their Relay for Life total.

Taste of Midlothian – Partners volunteered for the annual Taste of Midlothian. They set up two booths and sampled their new deli pizzas and gave out information regarding the services our stores provide.

Annual Fall Festival – Annual event that is held in the park. Partners passed out goody bags, promoted the pumpkin patch and participated in a football and basketball game.
