Salvation Army Bell Ringers – Seven partners volunteered for 14 hours during the month of December to ring the Salvation Army Bell Ringers for the Kiwanis Club.

Adopt A Highway – Six partners picked up trash along Hwy. 16 for their Adopt-a-Highway Project. This project helps with our community and also keeps the roadways clean and beautiful.

Check Presentation to Lindale School – Four partners presented a $1,000 check to Lindale High School during the halftime show. They also passed out trinkets to students for 12 hours.

School Check Presentation – A partner presented a check for $1,000 to Rains ISD during the halftime of the football game. He volunteered for three hours.

CCC Sale for Moms – One partner volunteered for four hours at the annual CCC sale in order to help families out in hard times. All proceeds from the sale benefited local non-profits in Tyler.

Ice Cream Party for Velma Penny Elementary School – Partners donated and served Goldenbrook Ice Cream to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders at Velma Penny School. Also, ruing Drug Free Week they provided tattoos for the children.

Trunk or Treat on the Square – Brookshire’s was the big sponsor for the annual downtown event. Partners judged a costume contest and handed out candy to over 1,000 kids. They volunteered twenty-six hours from decorating, making goody bags, judging the contest and cleaning up.
