Job Fair – Three local Brookshire stores participated in passing out applications and information to individuals in search of a job/career. They volunteered for six hours.

FFA – Partners cooked and served breakfast to all students, parents and participants of the 2013 Daingerfield Livestock Show. Also, they participated in the auction purchasing animals and adding on to several others volunteering for fifteen hours.

Annual Chamber Banquet – Partners volunteered for ten hours at the annual Chamber Banquet. They attended meetings leading up the banquet, presenting and cleaning up after the banquet.

Health Fair – Two pharmacy partners volunteered at the local health fair. They passed out materials and administering vaccinations.

Breast Cancer Walk – Thirteen Brookshire’s partners set up a canopy and provided water to all participants. They volunteered for twenty-six hours. All proceeds benefit breast cancer research.

Pewitt Pre-K – Children from Pewitt learned about all the departments, checked out groceries and even decorated cupcakes. There were 3 classes that toured the entire store. Partners volunteered to take them on a tour.

Morris County Livestock Show – Partners helped cook at the livestock show from 7 a.m. until 11 a. m. Later, Store Director Bryan Jackson attended the auction and supported area youth. He bid and purchased animals from area 4-H and FFA organizations.

Health Fair – The store helped sponsor a health fair at Daingerfield High School. The deli supplied sandwiches and pharmacy partners assisted with flu shots.

Daingerfield Days – 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off – The store donated all the supplies for everyone that attended the parade and event.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Partners placed bows on every light pole in the parking lot as well as above doors. In addition, partners decorated a scarecrow dressed in pink. They volunteered over 13 hours of their time.

Back to School – In support of the educational staff a cookie tray was delivered to each school at the beginning of the school year. They were thanked for their service to the children and the community.
