TYLER, Texas, Aug. 8, 2018 – Brookshire Grocery Co. hosted a lunch today for local first responders at Bossier Civic Center in Bossier City. The event was held to show the Company’s appreciation for first responders’ hard work and dedication to protect their community.
Local law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency response personnel were treated to burgers and sausage grilled by Company employees, with side dishes and dessert provided by the Brookshire’s store located at 5828 Line Ave in Shreveport.
“Providing lunch for these heroes is one way we can say ‘thank you’ for their invaluable service to our community,” said Brad Brookshire, Chairman and CEO for Brookshire Grocery Co. “Our Company is proud to support first responders and military heroes through events like this, along with our annual Brookshire’s and Super 1 Foods Heroes Run and World War II Heroes Flight program.”
