Product Talk: Sara Lee Breads

Sara Lee BreadsBack-to-school means packing a lot of sandwiches in school lunches. It’s difficult enough, sometimes, to keep up with a variety of delicious and healthy fillings without having to worry about also switching up the bread, but that’s where Sara Lee comes in.

My younger son will still pull the crust off of his sandwich, taking half the bread with it. However, he doesn’t do that to Sara Lee bread; he eats every last bite.

He loves the Sweet Hawaiian bread. My older son loves the Butter bread. They both love Honey Wheat and Soft and Smooth Made With Whole-Grain White bread.

We haven’t tried the Artesano yet, but it’s on the list next.

With 31 varieties, it’ll be easy for you to find something you feel good about packing in a school lunch.

Sara Lee has been baking since 1949, when a cheesecake recipe gave way to a baked goods empire. The company was named for the owner’s 8-year-old daughter. Sara Lee is now a philanthropist who supports the education and advancement of women and girls in science.
