East Texas Crisis Center – Major League Baseball Pitcher Josh Tomlin signed autographs and took donations for the East Texas Crisis Center. They were able to raise $585.00 in cash and diaper donations.

Susan Komen Race for the Cure – Annual race that is held at Bergfeld Park with over 4,700 runners and walkers involved. Twelve partners participated in the walk/run. Money raised from the race funded grants that benefited breast cancer research.
