Keep Seagoville Beautiful – Arbor Day – Keep Seagoville Beautiful created this event to demonstrate the importance of composting, planting trees and recycling. Partners helped plant the demonstration tree, clean up and also helped citizens with their trees. They volunteered for thirty hours.

Seagofest – Partners volunteered for ninety-eight hours to assist the Chamber of Commerce with their booth. Also, they sold drinks and had a couple of activities set up.

Seagofest – Partners assisted with parking and traffic for the parade held on Sept. 30. They also assisted with a 5k run and helped at the Chamber of Commerce booth at the festival.

Central Elementary School Awards Banquet – Brookshire’s was recognized as Partner of Education for the stores support of the school and its programs.

Chamber of Commerce Monthly Board of Directors Meeting – Store Director Michael Thrash met with Chamber of Commerce to discuss upcoming events and projects in the community.

Central Elementary School – Partners served muffins and juice to moms and teachers at Muffins for Mom event. It is a project where twice a year moms come in before school and discuss issues with teachers and administration.

Seagoville Soccer Tournament – Partners cooked and served hot dogs for the soccer teams from 5 cities competing in the tournament.

Animal Shelter Garage Sale – Partners assisted the local animal shelter with a garage sale that was held at First Baptist Church. All items were donated and all proceeds went to help with costs at the shelter.

August 14, 2010
Corsicana Back To School Rally – Brookshire’s and Ole Foods set up a booth and gave out donated school supplies to area children.  Partners passed out over 300 popsicles to children.  There were over 500 children that attended this event.

Seagoville Animal Shelter – Seagoville Brookshire’s held a donation and animal drive for the Seagoville Animal Shelter. They had a great turnout. 19 animals were adopted or rescued and money raised helps the operation of the shelter.

Seagoville Animal Shelter Car Wash – Our store donated 20 hours to assist the local animal shelter with a car wash. They raised $276.00 for this organization.

May 15, 2010
The store volunteered to help the Seagoville Animal Shelter and aided in getting 13 animals adopted by loving families and raising $150 for the nonprofit.
