Tour for the Cure – This was a day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association. Three partners volunteered for 21 hours.

5K Hog Wild Mud Run – All proceeds from the race went towards replacing 2 buildings that recently burned down on the Denton Calvary Academy campus. Partners placed first in the 4-person team division. They had fourteen partners that participated.

Ryan High School Softball Tournament – Three partners passed out cold Brookshire water to fans and students that attended the tournament. They volunteered for twelve hours.

Cumberland Shuffle – The store donated oranges and bananas that were passed out to participants before and after the race at Texas Motor Speedway. All proceeds benefitted the Cumberland Children’s Home in meeting the needs of children and families in the area.  Three partners volunteered for 9 hours.

Denton State School – Partners volunteered to assist clients at Denton State School with an arts and crafts project. They volunteered 4 hours.

Spirit of Christmas Food Drive – 4 volunteers from the store helped sort, pack and deliver boxes to the needy in the Denton area.

Kidsfest – Partners volunteered for over 50 hours making Kidsfest a huge success. Over 15 booths were set up and many prizes were given away.

Anna Fire Truck Dedication – Brookshire volunteers gave away balloons and drinks to children that attended the dedication. They volunteered for 6 hours to this city event.

University of North Texas Spring Fling – Partners welcomed students from the University to Denton.

MDA Lockup – 2 Partners participated in the MDA Lockup for Jerry’s Kids Fundraiser. The fire department came and took them to “jail” and kept them locked up until they raised money to send kids to the MDA Camp this summer.  The money raised was donated to the MDA.
