Thanksgiving Fruit Salad

If your child is a beginner in the kitchen (or if you are!), we've got a great recipe to start with. You can make it without using the stove or microwave, and most of the fruits can be cut with a plastic knife. And the best part is that it's a yummy fruit salad that just about everyone will love!
Thanksgiving (or any day!) Fluffy Fruit Salad

Ingredients:
1 cup seedless red or green grapes, sliced in half
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
2 kiwifruit, peeled and cut up
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup blueberries
1 (8 oz) tub nondairy whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
Combine all of the fruits in a large mixing bowl. Add the whipped topping and gently fold the mixture with a spatula or large spoon. Chill slightly and serve.
Serves 8
Note: this is a general formula. Feel free to substitute any fresh fruits that your family enjoys. If supplies are low in your area, you can substitute canned (drained) or frozen fruit blends
