Ten-month Olds and Food

Babies appetites come and go. Some days you'll think there's not enough food in the world to feed her belly, while other days she doesn't want a bite.

When you're baby's about 10 months old, you'll most likely be offering more finger food selections and thicker and chunkier foods. The real key is to listen to your child. She'll tell you when she's hungry, and she's not going to starve herself, either. Don't force or coax her to eat—let her set the pace—and you'll be on the path to good food habits.
