Hopkins County Annual Dairy Festival Parade -Store Director Barry Halcomb and Perishable Manager Ricky Bowen drove a new Dodge Ram pickup from Lone Star Dodge and threw candy to the crowds during the annual parade. They were just 1 of more than 200 parade entries.

Nearly a dozen employees participated in the Relay For Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Kindergarten Classes - The store supplied the kindergarten classes with plain poster boards and were given one week to complete decorating the poster boards. Each class transformed it into a beautiful Easter egg.  The  posters were put in the front of the store and they asked 20 random customers to pick the top posters. The winning class won a pizza party.  The store donated 7 hours of their time for this project.

Brookshire’s was prominent at Hopkins County’s World Championship Stew Cook-off. Employees helped raise funds for the Chamber of Commerce.
