Hula-ween Boo Ball- Tyler, Texas, Oct. 27

Brookshire's Cajun Festival- Tyler, Texas, Oct. 20

Brookshire¹s on Rice Road is having a Cajun Festival, Saturday, Oct. 20th from 11am - 6pm in celebration of Chef Ernest Palmisano's of Ernest Orleans in Shreveport's appearance! The meat market will be featuring Cajun boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn, Cajun sausage and fresh andouille sausage, made right in the market. The deli will be featuring chicken and sausage gumbo, red beans and dirty rice and fried or baked sweet potatoes and cornbread.

Don't forget about the already prepared chef meals ready-to-go: jambalaya, homemade bread pudding, crawfish ettoufee and fresh French bread.

 

Golf Tournament- Brownwood, Texas, Oct. 20

Brookshire’s is pleased to be a sponsor of the Brownwood Lions Booster Club 7th Annual Golf Tournament. The golf tournament benefits all sports at Brownwood High School.  Brookshire’s is proud to sponsor these deserving young men and women.

 

Benbrook Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament- Benbrook, Texas, Oct. 15

Brookshire’s is pleased to be a Putting Contest sponsor again for the charity golf tournament that benefits so many different children’s charities in the Benbrook area. The tournament will be held at White Stone Golf Club.

 

Celebrity Chef, Jon Bonnell- Tyler, Texas, Oct. 13

Brookshire's on Rice Road is excited to host Chef Jon Bonnell. He is known for his fine Texas cuisine, serving wild game, fresh seafood and organic beef at his Fort Worth bistro, Bonnell's Fine Texas Cuisine, which he opened in 2001.Chef Bonnell is a part of the new Celebrity Chef Program that Brookshire's on Rice Road started in its new Tasting Center. The program will bring a different chef to the upscale store each Saturday in October and will continue throughout November and December.

 

Tour De’ Trails- Winnsboro, Texas, Oct. 13

Brookshire’s is again a sponsor of the 17th annual bike ride that benefits the local Pilot Club. This year’s proceeds will go toward the development of Project Life Saver. This project provides monitoring bracelets to people with brain-related disorders such as Alzheimer’s.

 

Fall Festival- Athens, Texas, Oct. 13

Brookshire’s is a sponsor of the 2007 Fall Festival that draws visitors to the beautiful East Texas Arboretum. The festival features arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, lots of great food and much more! For more information, visit EasTexasArboretum.org.

 

Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame Bus and Cowboys Cheeleader Appearance- Kaufman, Texas, Oct. 13

Brookshire's is proud to host the Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame Bus with a guest appearance from the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Stop by Brookshire's of Kaufman at 2235 S. Washington from 10 am to 6 pm to tour the bus and from 12 pm to 2 pm to meet the Cheerleaders.

 

Dallas Cowboys Inflatable-Interactive Parking Lot Stations and Rowdy Appearance, Willow Park, Texas, Oct. 13

Brookshire's is proud to host the Dallas Cowboys Inflatable-Interactive Parking Lot Stations with a guest appearance from Rowdy, the Cowboys Mascot. Stop by Brookshire's of Willow Park at 5118 E. I-20 Service Rd S from 11 am to 3 pm to see the stations and from 12 pm to 2 pm to meet Rowdy.

 

Daingerfield Days- Daingerfield, Texas, Oct. 11-13

Celebrity Chef, Grady Spears- Tyler, Texas, Oct. 6

Brookshire's on Rice Road is excited to host Cowboy chef, Grady Spears. He has several restaurants, including his newest, Dutch's Hamburgers in Fort Worth, Texas and is the author of several cookbooks. Chef Spears is the first to participate in the new Celebrity Chef Program that Brookshire's on Rice Road is starting in its new Tasting Center. The program will bring a different chef to the upscale store each Saturday in October and will continue throughout November and December.

 

Celebrity Chef Program- Tyler, Texas

Brookshire’s at 100 Rice Road in Tyler presents the Celebrity Chef Program in the Celebrate Cooking Tasting Station inside the newly remodeled store. Each chef will prepare one recipe each hour between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Relay for Life- Tyler, Texas, Oct. 5

Brookshire’s is proud to sponsor the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. This annual event is held in Tyler at TJC Pat Hartley Field.
