1st Annual Hatch Chili Pepper Festival
Brookshire’s at 100 Rice Road in Tyler will host the 1st Annual Hatch Chili Pepper Festival on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1. The festival times are
10a – 5p each day. There will be roasted peppers in front of the store in the Farmers Market and recipes and samples being offered throughout the store featuring the hatch chili peppers. Stop by Brookshire’s on Rice Road to sample these delectable peppers.
United Way Campaign Under Way
Brookshire Grocery Co. employees will be contributing to the United Way of Tyler/Smith County again in a Pacesetter Campaign in August and September. The company raised more than $140,000 through employee donations and corporate matching funds for the Tyler/Smith County area alone last year. The company supports a number of United Way branches throughout its markets.
Help us help Jerry’s Kids!
Stores will be selling mobiles in August and September to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The MDA provides research, medical exams, flu shots, support groups, summer camps for kids, and assistance with wheelchairs and leg braces for kids with many different types of neuromuscular diseases. Our support helps make this work possible.
