Six leaders from Brookshire Grocery Co. are being honored in Progressive Grocer magazine’s third annual salute to the leading women in the supermarket industry.

BGC winners are Helen Claybourn and Heather Crawford in the Store Manager category; Michelle Elliott and Nancy Jett in the Rising Stars category; and Rebecca Sanders and Linda Wiggins in the Senior Level Executive category.

Claybourn serves as Store Director at Brookshire’s in Joshua, Texas; Crawford is Store Director at Brookshire’s in Denton, Texas; Elliott is Category Manager for Beauty and Personal Care; Jett is Category Manager for Alcohol and Tobacco; Sanders is Vice President – Consumer Insights; and Wiggins is Vice President – Director Deli/Bakery Operations.

All winners will be highlighted in a 2009 Top Women in Grocery feature article in Progressive Grocer’s June/July issue, as well as on the magazine’s Web site.
