Fundraising Banquet- Pine Bluff, Ark., Nov. 13

Brookshire’s helps sponsor the Hope Resource Center’s 2nd Annual Fundraising Banquet. Proceeds benefit the center, which provides services such as parenting classes, adoption referrals and life skills training.

 

Taste of the Holidays-Various Store locations, Nov. 13

Brookshire’s customers can get into the spirit of the holidays on Nov. 13 from 4 to 7 pm at select stores by enjoying free samples of holiday foods ranging from entrées to hors d’oeuvres. As many as 10 tasting stations will be set up with samples of items such as smoked turkey breast and shrimp in the market and cornbread dressing and garlic cheese spread with crackers in the deli. The bakery will sample assorted cakes and pies, while the produce department will offer cut fruit samples and guacamole and chip samples. Grocery, dairy and frozen foods departments will sample eggnog, punch and peppermint ice cream, among other products.

 

Veterans for Veterans Bike Ride- Shreveport, La., Nov. 8

Brookshire’s is providing help to the 4th annual Veterans for Veterans Bike Ride at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. Proceeds are used to purchase items for current veteran patients.

 

Robinson Livestock Show- Robinson, Texas, Nov. 8

The 4th annual livestock show benefits the scholarship program of the Robinson FFA Alumni. The alumni organization presents scholarships each year to deserving seniors with an FFA background. Brookshire’s is pleased to help sponsor this event.

 

Red, White & Blue Festival- Bullard, Texas, Nov. 7-8

Brookshire’s will sponsor this year’s annual festival to be held in downtown Bullard.

 

Style Show- Shreveport, La., Nov. 5

Brookshire’s is a sponsor of the Loyola College Prep annual fundraiser. This year’s event theme is “Under the Hollywood Lights.”

 

Edgewood Heritage Festival- Edgewood, Texas, Nov. 3-8

Brookshire’s is pleased to be a sponsor for this celebration, which is the primary fundraiser for the Edgewood Heritage Park Museum.

 

Iron Horse Festival- Mineola, Texas, Nov. 1-2
