When you’re eating with diabetes, there are so many variables to consider! You need to take care not to overdo the fat, but if you switch from a full-fat product to a fat-free one, you may find that the fat is replaced with sugar—and that’s another area of concern for diabetics!

 

To be sure you’re not replacing one problem with another, consult diabetes resources and read labels carefully. Check the number of carbohydrate grams per serving as well as sugars and fats. Putting all of these numbers together will help you come up with the best choice.
