Brookshire's Benefit Golf Tournament

Brookshire's Benefit Golf Tournament The 2007 Brookshire’s Benefit Golf Tournament raised $175,000 for children's charities on April 23 with simultaneous tournaments at Hollytree and Eagle’s Bluff country clubs.

 

Conducted by Brookshire Grocery Co. for the 19th consecutive year, the event featured morning and afternoon golf tournaments for some 400 golfers.

 

Guests also participated in a silent auction featuring a wide variety of prizes, including memorabilia signed by sports celebrities such as Kyle Busch, Richard Petty, Reggie Bush and Nolan Ryan, to name a few.

 

Brad Brookshire, president of the marketing group for BGC, presented a check to Robin Rowan, director of Children's Miracle Network for Trinity Mother Frances Health System, on behalf of the charities.

 

“We greatly appreciate all of the companies and individuals who support this effort,” Brookshire said. "Their contributions make the project a huge success each year.”
