Kids have it all figured out: if food is fun, they'll eat it. So instead of serving salad with croutons, substitute some fun goldfish-shaped crackers instead! All of a sudden, salad is fun. You can crank up the fun a little by letting your child assemble the salad—either individual salad bowls, or one large container.
Young children can use pre-chopped salad greens, and slightly older kids can cut the lettuce with a plastic knife. The rest is all stove-free and knife-free, so it's a safe, easy, fast and fun way to add a splash to any meal!
