It's called Dermatitis herpetiformis, or DH for short. Symptoms include red, raised patches, often with blisters that burst with scratching; and severe itching and even stinging. Physicians may prescribe medications to relieve the symptoms, but following a gluten-free diet is the only way to keep the condition away.
