We all have a stack of folded up paper grocery bags in our pantry. This holiday season, get those paper bags out and do a project with your kids.
Here are a couple of favorites for Thanksgiving to get you started!
Native American Headband
Cut a strip of the paper bag two inches thick and long enough to fit around your child’s head. Leave an extra inch to staple together. Cut out feather shapes from the remaining paper bag. Color the feathers and decorate the headband with symbols and shapes. Staple the feathers in a group to the inside of the headband then staple the headband closed and put it on!
Native American Vest
Open a paper bag and turn it upside down. Cut a line up the middle of the front of the bag. Cut out holes for arms and head. Decorate to match your Native American headband and wear it!
