Wes Hooper, former store director at the Brookshire’s store in Mt. Vernon, Texas, was recently promoted to district manager.

Hooper now oversees Texas stores in Celina, Sweetwater, Azle, Denton, Bowie, Comanche, Granbury, Aledo, Cisco, Eastland, Brownwood, Lake Worth, Weatherford, Springtown, Albany, Crowley, Benbrook and Anna.

Hooper began his career in 1984 as a courtesy clerk at the Brookshire’s in Pittsburg, Texas. He then served as a stocker and grocery manager before being promoted to assistant store manager in Mt. Vernon. He then served as an assistant store manager in Paris, Texas, before being promoted to store director at the Brookshire’s in Atlanta, Texas, in 2002. He has been the store director in Mt. Vernon since 2005.
