Your new Thank You Card is a new “version” of your black card. And, if you are already signed up at Upromise.com to earn savings when you purchase eligible items at Brookshire's using your Thank You Card, you don’t have to change a thing since your Thank You Card number has not changed.
How do I make sure I’m getting all the benefits of the Thank You Card?

If I don’t have a computer, can I still participate in email offers?
Yes, most public libraries have computer and internet services available so that library patrons can access free email accounts with providers such as Yahoo, AOL, etc. Friends and relatives may also assist in establishing and accessing free email accounts. Brookshire's only needs an email address for you. You can access your email address on any computer with internet access.

How do I qualify for Top Shopper Privileges and Rewards?
Customers that spend an average of $100 or more per week during a calendar quarter (13 week period) qualify for Top Shopper special privileges and rewards. Some current privileges include personal check cashing at our store offices for up to $100 with no check cashing fees and no photo ID required with use of your Thank You Card. Money order fees are also waived with the use of the Thank You Card as a Top Shopper privilege.
Customers who qualify for Top Shopper Privileges and Rewards are notified directly of that status. Customers that were notified by letter in July 2010 continue to qualify for these special perks through January 2011. At that time, customers qualifying as Top Shoppers will be notified again; additional notifications will occur every three months – after April 2011 and after July 2011.
Why do I need to use my Thank You Card every time I make a purchase at Brookshire's?
There are several reasons why you’d want to be sure to always use your card:
*Your Thank You Card provides you with the best price on hundreds of items every day at Brookshire's stores. Without your Thank You Card, you can miss these important savings.
*If product recalls are made on items you’ve purchased using your Thank You Card, we can send you an informative email and register receipt messages.
*Rewards and offers are awarded based on your shopping history and/or your spending level. It's important that all your purchases are attributed to your Thank You Card so that you receive every reward and offer that you qualify for.
*For instance, be sure to use your Thank You Card for all prescription purchases as they are included in your total spending amounts for most promotions and Exclusive Rewards and Top Shopper status. Rest assured that no one outside our pharmacy has access to what prescriptions were filled, only that a purchase was made in the pharmacy department. The amount of your prescription purchase that appears on the bottom of your register receipt is used to calculate your total spending level.
*Some items are excluded from your spending totals for Exclusive Rewards and Top Shopper status. Those purchases excluded are gasoline, sales tax, postage stamps, Brookshire's gift cards, and some cash office services and sales such as money orders, Western Union, check cashing, etc.
How do I find out which local businesses are participating in the Brookshire’s AMP program?
Printed signs and lists of these businesses and their offers are available at your local Brookshire's store.
Similar lists of these businesses and their offers are posted on the brookshires.com website, searchable by store.
Each AMP-related business will have signage to indicate their participation in this program and the offer they provide. You must show your Thank You Card in order to take advantage of these offers; your telephone number cannot substitute for your Thank You Card at these businesses.
What do I need to do to receive email messages about product recalls on items I’ve purchased from Brookshire’s, using my Thank You Card?
You only need to sign up for email at brookshires.com to receive email messages about product recalls for items you have purchased at Brookshire's using your Thank You Card.
You will also receive one printed message on the bottom of your register receipt.
A general list of recently recalled products is available at brookshires.com.
How do the freeBclub programs work?
Beginning August 4th: No enrollment is necessary – as a Thank You Card shopper, you are already a member! As a special thank you to our customers, we have freeBclub programs that award free products on some of the things you like and buy the most such as Rotisserie chickens and Deli Café dinners. Look for the signs for these programs throughout your local store or go to brookshires.com /Promotions for a complete list of offers. Using your Thank You Card with each transaction, the number of items you have purchased is shown at the bottom of your register receipt, and when you qualify for the free item, the next time you purchase the item – it rings up FREE at the checkout! No punch cards, no receipts to keep!
How do I sign up for “automatic” sweepstakes entries?
Where advertised, most sweepstakes entries are automated so that when you purchase qualifying items, you are entered in the sweepstakes through your Thank You Card. Specific rules and regulations apply to each contest. Complete rules of a sweepstakes will be available on brookshires.com and in the store office. Employees of Brookshire’s Grocery Company may not participate in most sweepstakes contests.
I’ve lost my keys; how can my Thank You Card help me find them?
If you have a Thank You Card key tag secured to your key ring, many times, the person finding the keys will drop them in a post office box. The United States Postal Service (USPS) will send these keys to Brookshire Grocery Company where every effort will be made to return them to the address linked to the Thank You Card number on the key tag, by certified mail. Almost 6,000 sets of lost keys have been returned to Thank You Card customers at no charge.
Why don’t my purchases of eligible products result in earnings on my Upromise account?
Make sure that all your Thank You Card numbers are registered at Upromise.com. If you have multiple cards, each and every card number must be registered, not just one.
If I get another replacement Thank You Card, why is it important to provide my old card number?
Although you’d think this could be done automatically, our system cannot always link your new Thank You Card number with your old card number/s. By supplying your old card number, you are assured that you will continue to qualify for rewards and offers based on your shopping history.
Why is it important to keep my Thank You Card personal information up-to-date?
Two reasons at least.
If you change your phone number or your address and don’t update that information on your Thank You Card, your rewards could be offered or mailed to a person who has your old address or phone number. It may be convenient to keep using your “old” phone number at the checkout, but you could be losing your rewards to another customer who has the same phone number.
Also, if your lost keys are found with a Thank You Card key tag attached, many times, they will be taken or mailed to Brookshire’s. These keys are then mailed, by certified mail, to the address listed in your Thank You Card information, free of charge.
Simply complete a change form at your local Brookshire's store for all updates.
How can brookshires.com help me figure out what’s for dinner?
Go to brookshires.com to pull up the current weekly ad, the most recent Celebrate Cooking magazine, or any one of thousands of recipes or cooking videos to help you put dinner on the table fast, easy, and at an affordable price. Save your favorite recipes in your own recipe box and create your own shopping list – then print it out or email it to yourself or someone else in your household. And, our iPhone appprovides a whole new element of convenience!
Where can I get a free Thank You Card?
Applications are available at the store office of all Brookshire’s stores. Fill out the application and return it to the store office to receive your Thank You Card, and two key tags. Applications are also available online at brookshires.com; you can download an application, fill it out and return it to the store office or complete the electronic application and submit it online. When you begin to check out, your cashier will scan your Thank You Card and your savings will be shown on the bottom of your receipt. It’s that easy!
Who sees the personal information on the application?
We have a very strict privacy policy and assure you that your information will not be sold or shared with anyone outside our company for advertising or solicitation purposes.
Do I have to give my contact information to get a card?
We need your address and phone number to provide you with offers related to products you routinely buy and to notify you if you have won a sweepstakes. If you do not wish to provide this information, you will not receive offers.
Shopping transactions are recorded so we may serve customers better and reward them with offers related to products they routinely buy. Card use and shopping habits are normally viewed in groups rather than individually.
What if I don’t want to receive anything in the mail?
Customers who “opt out” by checking the designated box on the application will not receive offers linked to the program. If you did not opt out and would like to, you can fill out a change form at the store office. If you opted out and now want to receive the offers, you also must fill out a change form.
