MONROE, LA--Recently PAWS, Pet Assistance Welfare Society, with the help of Brookshire Grocery Co. and Purina, donated a truckload of pet food to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter in West Monroe, La.
BGC recently hosted a food show in Shreveport, La, where Purina was a vendor. BGC and Purina donated the Purina display to PAWS after the event. PAWS in turn donates pet food to area animal shelters.
PAWS of Northeast Louisiana is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of companion animals in the community as well as enriching lives through animal interaction.
