Some products can serve a dozen different purposes, and add a little pizzazz to just about any dish. Take barbecue sauce, for instance. Have you tried using it for something besides burgers?

• A bottle of prepared barbecue sauce can turn ho-hum chicken breasts into something special. Just brush on a bit while you're sautéing the chicken, and serve over rice!

 

 

• Add an entire bottle of barbecue sauce to a chunk of meat in the crockpot and by the end of the day, you'll have barbecued dinner, ready to serve. Make it a beef roast, a whole chicken, or a pork loin and the aroma will call everyone to the table!

• Shred rotisserie chicken and mix with barbecue sauce for pulled chicken sandwiches.

• Stir barbecue sauce into baked beans, add some sliced hot dogs and suddenly plain beans seem more special!

• Mix barbecue sauce into prepared spaghetti sauce for a mysteriously tasty difference over pasta.

• Add barbecue sauce to frozen corn and black beans for a savory side dish.
