Vitamin B

I don’t know about you, but I’m TIRED.

Worn out.

Drained.

Exhausted.

Most of the time.

And, I’d bet you are, too.

I always forget the importance of taking a multivitamin, and I really noticed a difference once I started taking one with extra B vitamins in them (per my doctor’s orders).

B vitamins are essential for cell metabolism. Sure, you can take a multivitamin or a B-complex vitamin to get your daily recommended allowance, but you can also find B vitamins naturally in unprocessed foods, especially in seeds, sprouts, beans, tubers and grains. Vitamin B-12, specifically, is found in shellfish, milk, eggs and cheeses.

B vitamins are essential for energy in the form of the breakdown of carbohydrates into glucose; for the breakdown of fats and proteins, which aids the normal functioning of the nervous system; for muscle tone in the stomach and intestinal tract; and for the overall health of hair, skin, eyes, mouth and liver.
