Rayville store sports a new look with new services.

The Brookshire’s store located in the cotton capital of Rayville, La., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 30, 2011, to begin grand opening activities at a new location that formerly housed a competitor.

The greatly refurbished facility features a new, highly-visible company logo on the store front, as well as updated fixtures and improved lighting. The new location has enabled the store to add new bakery and deli departments, as well as a beer and wine section. Produce, floral, meat and grocery departments have been expanded.

Special merchandising emphasis at the store is focused on a wide variety of Louisiana-manufactured products, such as Louisiana Fish Fry, Tony Chachere’s seasonings and mixes, Tabasco, Bayou Magic, Community Coffee, and others.

Store Director Mark Bryan thanked employees throughout the company who have worked to get the facility ready to open.

“This has been a team effort from everyone to get this renovation completed, and we greatly appreciate their efforts,” he said.
